Album Review
Contemporary favorites Allan Rich, Wendy Waldman, Ann Hampton Callaway, David Friedman, Marsha Malamet and Michael Callen share the spotlight with classic songwriters like Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Lessack has an incredible command of his voice and he uses it to soar with a transcendent joy. The arrangements are exquisite blends of acoustic and guitar, with piano, bass, trumpet, flute, sax, drums and percussion included in various orchestral combinations. Seductive, fun, moving...you're putty in his hands.

A brilliant, beautiful voice and a beautiful album
Lee Lessack is a great singer -- in fact, he's probably one of the finest singers of our time. Even though his choice of material may not be mainstream, no one can listen to his impeccable phrasing and sincerity without being moved. I loved the album on first hearing, but it's the subsequent hearings that have made this, and Mr. Lessack's other albums, among my most favorite. It deepens and widens as you listen; his simple technique reveals his mastery. This album is a must for any fan of great vocal artists.
Amazing
I discovered Lee by accident many years ago at Borders, before the days of digital downloads. This is one of my favorite albums, and I've been following him and his label ever since.
