Fail
If you're looking for what this artist can do - check out his releases on Hymen and Ad Noiseam. I have been a fan of Enduser for many years - this is by far his most amatuer work to date. I rushed to pick this up on CD but what a complete failure. It seems that he was trying to slow down a bit and be more cerebral, but it's a complete regression into the 90s. He's also using the same sound sources and break beat loops from 2003/4. Let's face it, Enduser is great at ripping other people's sounds off and throwing great breakcore beats into it - this is what we see when we strip back the sampling a bit perhaps. Using "Fear is the mindkiller" as a sample? This couldn't do Eon justice. I'm really surprised Ohm resistance released this - they typically release tighter, more complete work. They should try hiring the 15 year old next door, he's producing better work. I have to say this is the first Enduser release I've purchased that I plan on sell as soon as possible.
A good continuation
A good follow-up and one I will be listening to for a while. Not as "chaotic" as the last couple albums, more flowing. If you are a fan on "Comparing Paths" or "Calling the Vultures" this one will do just fine The album has balance from the radical drums to a good rhythm which Enduser is known for. Not as many "vocal" tracks this go around, but the music Enduser makes is all there. I am still a fan of Enduser as long as they make material.
