Superb
Akir and Tech are easily the two most skilled, conscientious and knowledgable artists in hip hip... hell, make that in the history of Western Civilization. Out of respect for Akir's superior artistry and intellect, I hesitate to make the comparison, but you can't help but think of Akir as fulfilling the mission we all expected Nas to carry out before he sold out. Akir actually sounds similar to that early Nas flow, but he is light years ahead in terms of his--lets say--clarity of vision, complex, socially relevant themes and his ability to carry through narrative; remarkable. This is a level of artistry that transcends hip hop and enters into a realm that few craftsmen in any industry have approached. In short, if you don't appreciate this, you are an idiot. If you have never heard Akir or Immortal Technique, you are the equivalent of an illiterate in the hip hop genre. Listen and learn. Thank you Akir.
Flawless
This has become my favorite album of the year. I grew up on Hip Hop. Yes I'm over 30! I tell everyone about this album, his blog, and previous albums. SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP!
Very solid album
Didn't know what to expect when buying AKIR's album I wasnt sure i heard he was unsigned hype last year but I didn't know what to think. I copped the album last week and it completly suprised me. Great songs and AKIR's lyrical ability shocked me. Def one of the best albums to drop this year besides Common's Finding Forever. You def need to cop this great music for the car or a fat blunt.
