A Bold Hip-Hop Experiment
One of the things I liked most about Lushlife's "Cassette City" album is its hip-hop classicist tendencies. But the fact that's totally thrown out the window in favor of wild experimentation on this release doesn't lessen the enjoyment at all; it rather acts as a compliment. My favorite remixes on here are the Abacus and Brown Recluse contributions, both psychedelic interpretations in their own way. If you like well crafted hip-hop with adventurous ambitions, check this one out!
