Great music... great movie

This really is a terrific album! Music and voices are varied, so there is no room whatsoever for boredom. It does help to have watched the movie, although I think that musically these songs speak for themselves. Lyrics, of course, go with the themes in the movie.

Great Musical, Great Movie

The songs were so well integrated with the actions and timing of the movie; they all fit perfectly. Such a variety of styles that were perfect for the many moods of the film. Subtle and well timed, they advanced the story without overpowering it.

Known for his clever wordplay and wistful love songs, singer/songwriter Alex Beaupain is a star in his native France and has often worked with one of that country's more daring filmmakers, Christophe Honoré. The two began working together in 2002 on the film 17 Fois Cécile Cassard. Beaupain provided the soundtrack, which featured one song he'd composed for singer Lily Margot.
