This album rocks!! Needs more mainstream exposure.....
If you don't buy this entire album (which would be a huge mistake)- atleast buy #2 and #4. You cannot tell how amazing they are in the short few seconds of preview you get. These songs, as well as the others, are so great. 2 and 4 in particular could be top 10 hits. They are that good. This is a great artist that scraped her own money together, via a 'day job', to create this masterpiece. It is all her- totally real, not some 'packaged cd' from a big label. The words and instrumentals in this cd come straight from the heart of this artist, her own very colorful real life experiences. This is what music should be about. Attn: Starbucks- do your customers a favor- get this on your shelves!! Quit letting big music execs/corporations control what we hear!

Excellent new disc
Jen Bye's Less Than Perfect For This World is chock full of different emotional hues and nuances. Excellent production with restraint, the songwriting is top-notch, the performances subtle and evocative. Bye should be signed to a major label and given the big push.
