Led by the rich, expressive vocals of lead singer/songwriter Michael Farren, the Texas-based CCM outfit’s first anthology, Let It Rain: The Best of Pocket Full of Rocks, collects 15 of the popular worship group’s best-loved tracks, including fan favorites like “Come as You Are,” “Alive,” “Feels Like Rain,” and “Jesus Died My Soul to Save.” Serious and deeply spiritual, yet brimming with youthful whimsy, playful instrumentation, and plenty of hooks, Let It Rain offers up a nice introduction to one of the genre's most likeable acts.
