Album Review
You can't fault a band that just wants to drink with you, so go ahead and love Red Planet. Let's Get Ripped! kicks off with its goofy ruckus title track, which sounds like Shoes covering the Ramones. From there it's the fuzzy half-time stomp of "Big Hair Camaro," a trashy fun run through the Dead Kennedys classic "Too Drunk to F**k," and some stuff about crappy jobs and drunken hookups. It's a real good time, pretty typical for the Bay Area band as well as Gearhead Records.
