Lettin Go, Never That!

Janelle Monáe has a wonderful voice and the song "Lettin Go" will gets heavy rotation on your iTune player and iPod. Janelle Monáe’s definitely has something that is lacking in the music industry right now and that is passion and soul! Go to her website and learn more about her janellemonae.com and http://concreteloop.com/gossip/janelle-monae/ to read a interview with her.

Perfect

This song is really great. I found it after really loving her on the new Outkast album, and I think I love this even more. Her voice has a perfect amount of hoarseness to it that makes it a joy to listen to. I also love that great album cover, she reminds me of Lauryn Hill. I really hope that Idlewild will be her breakthrough, even though this is good enough to have done that for her, but I do wonder why it has been out since May '06 and she still hasn't released an album with it, I really want some more!

make more music

I have never heard a singer with the all-around talent of Janelle! I mean she's mozart to christina aguilara's beethoven. Everything that comes out of her beautiful lips sound so natural and effortless. Please, Please don't make hyphy or crunk beats just to get famous! Keep doing what your doing. I think a duet with Cee-lo would be very interesting!
