insanely intelligent

Words really don't do justice to what Level One and Two are in reality... insanely intelligent comes to mind. Nothing beats seeing these three guys live as well. Check them out if they come near you soon. Malfunction and What's the Difference does it for me but to be honest there really isn't a bad song on either release. Can't wait for the next level!

PUTTING THE FUN IN MALFUNCTION!

Wow, where to begin with the Mathematicians? First off, everybody HATES math. So it's only logical that a band this good would turn something so TERRIBLE into PURE GOLD. Okay, okay. Level One is good, I mean, have you heard "4 Eyes?" Have you even HEARD that song?! But really, the Math really up the ante on Level Two, I gotta tell ya. Right from the start with "LCD," Mr. Pete Pythagoras' sexy tenor tones lure you right in... only to have your limbs shook off from Dewi Decimal's ripping synth lines! And let's not forget Albert Gorithm's precisely calculated skins-pounding! Man, these three guys can really tear the roof off, let me tell ya! And you think it doesn't get better, but "What's the Difference" shakes and shocks your feet to the floor and before you know it you are all sweaty from dancing so hard! Man! In a classic one-two punch, "XOXO" doesn't offer any relief for those sore ankles. Without even thinking, you're two-stepping and maybe even three-stepping to the hot beats while singing saws wail and and whine alongside Dewi's somber and sincere exponential poetry. And well, "Robotic Voices," I don't think I really have to say anything here. It's just neat! The Mathematicians give me the shimmy shakes in the best way! These are real bonafide jimmy jams! You cannot fail with Level Two!

Lovin' the Mathematicians!

I am so excited to see this available on iTunes! These guys are great at creating orginal, fun, and great music. Seeing them live is even more of a blast! My fav is What's the Difference.
