A SPLIT!!!
Now, first of all. BOTH bands are amazing, on recordings and live. So i knew i had to pick it. Well that and I love Hour Of The Wolf. Haha, anywho, good release. I had thought that WOTF side would be amazing....but it wasn't THAT great. Not that it's bad, I just think that i'm stuck on Power. But yeah. Lewd Acts. WOW. The best part of this is that if you ever heard of any of these bands, you get an idea on what they offer. Lewd Acts get my vote for the better parts...BUT Hour Of The Wolf prepare you for them later haha i'd say, buy this right now.
Inspired, but perhaps premature.
The tragedy behind all of HOTW's songs is plain to see, but the music backing up the theme is rough. Perhaps a few days spent refining the songs would have done the album a good turn. Lewd Acts' side is good, but not as good as i have come to expect from them. Buy it directly from the bands if you want to support them, but its not worth it to buy from iTunes.
