The Libertine

I really don't care for this movie, yet I cannot help watching it because of the music. Michael Nyman's style of playing is beautiful...a joy to a quiet soul. It is music for meditation, for the depressed, for the lonely, for the thinker, and the hurt. Classical music lovers will love it for its honesty and bravery at exsposong human emotion to its very core.

Bravo

It's very rare to come across films that have music worth listening to on its own. This score does it brilliantly. Some of it's cheesy, but sometimes you need the corniness to fix something within you, and this album can do it. Esepcially "Rochester's Farewell." My god. I can't believe that was written only threee years ago!!
