Great
I heard of palefire pretty much accidentally. Just surfing around of itunes and one thing lead to another which led to their latest album. I must say I am quite impressed with it. They manage to create unique music with incredible depth and emotion. I always love it when I find great music from a band I have never heard of. Anyway, I've rambled on to much. It you want something unique and awesome, buy it.
They sure bury Phish
Pale Fire is made up of a VYO violin player, a very talented acoustic guitarist, A very musically gifted bass player, and most recently a great drummer. They've played several places in Chittenden County and not once did they dissappoint the audience. Pale fire is sure to deliver what you show up to see, and they will even throw in a fiddle played through a Wah pedal just for good measure. Now that they have an actual album out and they're no longer referring people to their EP, I feel like they've accomplished something. Maybe not fame, but more the knowledge that there is nothing holding them back. Each member is a major contributor to each song, and that means that they can feel safe making music they can live off of.
