"... a document of significant power. Ghost Ghost is coming for you..."

"Lightning Demo" the debut release from the NYC rock trio GHOST GHOST was recorded live in a small rehearsal room in the Lower East Side. It was released on May 1, 2008, just three months after the band first convened in a dark basement below a health food shop on Ludlow street. Energetic and uncompromising with haunting lyrics penned by bass player Kevin Peckham, both songs "Forest Fires" and "Old Leaves" tell the story of a deeply disturbed and fractured mind struggling to make sense of an increasingly disordered world. "Old Leaves" is littered with allusions to Wallace Stevens and Gerard Manley Hopkins. "Forest Fires" is a loose web of scenes told in a spinning ‘Prufrock-like narrative sequence. Guitarist Karl Ward, lays down hauntingly rich and dissonant vocal harmonies to counterpoint his equally diverse and complex guitar riffs. The boundless energy and cranking power of drummer and Boston transplant Tim Ireland pins it all together… the result is a document of significant power. Look for the follow-up e.p. "Time is Gravity" to be released everywhere in November 2008.
