A beautifully written song!
HOWEVER, a truly great song must not only have a powerful message, but must be sung in a way that attracts people instead of driving them away.
I agree this is good lyrically, but the vocals are more off-key than I've ever heard on a release from a major label.
How could a well respected label release something this vocally horrendous? Especially in the age of Pro Tools, Soundtrack Pro, and other programs that could fix this. Must have run out of budget , or could it be that Integrity wanted a songwriter and sacrificed a project to get the writer?
Pity the folks who have to listen to this guy every Sunday and at bone crushing volume too!
Give me a chalkboard and some fingernails any day!
Like a Lion
Truly on of my favorite worship leaders of all time!!! I have been able to experience several worship service with Daniel Bashta and I can honestly say it is an incredible experience!! He has such an anointing to usher in the Presence of God and lead people into a place of both prayer and worship. I highly recommend this single and his upcoming CD will be a must have!! ...David crowder does a good job but noone can replicate the sound of Daniel Bashta.... Wonderful and unique anointing!

Like a Lion is way more than a song--it's a message. Can you imagine a generation living like God's not dead, but surely alive? This song is the original of "Like a Lion", and it's anointed and powerful! Daniel is one of the best song writers and worship leaders that I know. God is using Daniel Bashta's music to bring hope and strength to many! Let's take the truth of this song to the world. Let's live like God's not dead, He's surly alive! Let's be the Movement and Spread the Roar!
