Ear Candy

Nancy got to make this during the last summer of her life. It was a dream for both of us. All of these tunes also worked great as piano and vocal, but you are certainly right, orchestra does bring them to life in a new way. Nancy was one of the great vocal artists of last century and still is largely unkown, but that will change. She is a star .... Nancy left us before ipods and itunes were invented, but I bet she would have loved it. I look forward to ALL of her tracks being available in imixes...she deserves it.

Listen to my heart

This is such a fabulous song. As a singer, I only wish the full sound symphonic accompaniment were available to do this justice in show settings. Piano and synthesizer just miss it. It's lovely, she was lovely.

LISTEN TO MY HEART

If you have NEVER heard a Nancy LaMott tune, start here! Absolutely gorgeous song choices. Brilliantly arranged by the master of masters, Mr. Peter Matz and produced with style and enormous love by one of the most gifted songwriters of our this generation, David Friedman. The CD also includes some of David Friedman's best work, which turned out to be the songs that made Nancy La Mott the legend that she was. This was Nancy at the peak, just before she left us so prematurely. It is one of favorite CDs.
