Simply Wonderful!
When I was going to see this musical, I will admit that I was a little skeptical of exactly how good it was going to be. I had read the book and seen the movie starring Christian Bale and Kirsten Dunst and really liked both of them but for some reason I couldn't see how this could be a good musical. But as I sat there being dazzled by Sutton Foster herself, I couldn't help but fall in love with this show! It was wonderful and even made me cry a little bit. This album it worth every penny!
Astonishing
This is a great musical for all Broadway enthusiasts! While I was skeptical, because classic books are rarely made into musicals, but this one takes the cake. Simply astonishing, I was laughing, I was crying, it was amazing. And in regards to the first review, there is no way some high school chorus girl is better than Sutton Foster!
Good music!
My school performed this musical and, while I liked the voice of the girl who played Jo in ours better (probably because I was so used to it), the music is great and the vocalists perform well!
