The Wrights are the husband-and-wife country duo of Adam and Shannon Wright. Natives of southwest Georgia, both grew up in musical homes (Adam's uncle was country star Alan Jackson) and turned to country music at an early age. They met each other in 1998 when Adam filled in as a lead guitarist at one of Shannon's club gigs (she was a featured singer in a cover band) and the two began writing songs together almost immediately, eventually falling in love and marrying.
