A Great Live Album from a talented band!
I have had the benefit of knowing GOODING for many years now and watch his music evolve. His adding of Billy and Jesse only helped culminate this underrated musician and band to new musical heights. I have seen few great musicians play life, GOODING has always been one of the best I have seen. The connection shared witht he audience and the pure, raw energy they all give to the performances is exhilarating to be at. This live album is GOODING and The GOODING Band at their best. If you have a chance to catch them live, do so, you will be an instant fan.

Coming a long way from City Lights, Gooding continues to evolve with every note played. By far one of the best undiscovered bands you could add to your collection, and one of the absolute best live performances you'll ever see. This particular album highlights their live abilities, with grooves spanning several albums. If you're looking for a variety, and new to Gooding, this album is the perfect choice. Does Gooding still clap on 1 and 3? Maybe not, but when you put 3 gifted, talented artists together that play with the heart and soul of these guys, you get an experience you will not forget.
Another gem from Goob and the boys....
An old friend of mine took me to a Gooding show in Dayton Ohio several years ago and I was quite simply blown away. Musicians, dare I say artists, of this caliber are few and far between. They pour their hearts and souls into every performance and you can see it and feel it. Some of their recordings don't capture the energy of their shows, but this one does a pretty damn good job. If you ever have a chance to see Gooding live, go. It's worth every penny of the cover charge and more. Hang around afterwards too and you might get to meet the guys and see what wonderful human beings they are.
