In one word? AWESOME!
I've been a Senate fan for the past two years and I was really looking forward to this new album. I loved their previous album but the 6 songs went by so fast and left me wanting more. The new album has it all, from the Awesome Song to Skeleton Line (which I had been waiting for since seeing it performed at The Triple Door). I even enjoy listening to the two redone songs from the previous album (with new instrumental parts). Overall, a lovely album that only makes me love the Senate more... who knew that was possible?

I literally just heard The Senate at Cafe Solstice for the first time a few hours ago, and I couldn't believe how good they were! Everyone was cheering, clapping, and going crazy for them. Their sound is so unique, but it totally works. People of all ages can relate to it and enjoy it. Their songs are fun and easy to move to, but best of all, the guys are so much fun to watch. You feel like you’re a huge part of the whole experience, and it’s so cool! I would highly recommend checking out all their albums, and if you get the chance to see them live, GO! They sound even better live. I find it so amazing that all the guys have great chemistry, plus their voices sound fantastic together.
Next best thing to in-person
If you haven't seen The Senate in-person, this is DEFINITELY the way to go... or even if you have seen them in-person, this can fill the gaps (very well) between your last and next Senate concerts!!!!! Come visit the Three Trees in Bellingham, WA and hear the real thing, I'll probably be there cheering Oliver, Nick, and Andrew on... seriously, I haven't enjoyed live music this much in a long time. Thanks for the awesome music, Senate.
