Gadd and the band groove non-stop!

This is Gadd's best "solo" release, in my opinion. Joey Defrancesco and the rest of the band cook on every track. These tunes are all about groove. All the Gadd moves are there in his solos, but it's his ensemble playing that really shines. He is having a great time with the band and song selections. If you saw this band on their brief tour last year, this will remind you of the show. I caught all the nights at Catalina's in Los Angeles. Gadd is one of a kind. Know your drumming history. Check out this release.

It doesn't get much better than this! Incredible musicians at the top of their game, great songs, excellent production and being its a live recording, the energy is fantastic!

what can i say

these are all such incredible artists and musicians. this is one of those albums that can be listened to on the surface with ease. but it also has great depth that rewards concentrated listening.
