Guitar genius

Okay, so maybe you haven't heard of Joe Bone. No problem! If you are a fan of guitar masters like Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and John Petrucci, then you will love this album. Joe has the unique ability to touch on all styles of guitar while staying in the realm of blues/rock. You'll hear some tasteful shredding, smooth jazzy licks, absolutely impossible acoustic riffs, and some classical lines all in the same song. I can sit and listen to this album for hours and never get tired of it. Do yourself a favor... BUY THIS ONE!!! Then buy his others.

Awesome

I ran into this album while searching for another artist. Honestly, I'd never heard of Joe Bonamassa but am I ever glad I bought this album. Actually, I first bought the studio album Sloe Gin and loved it so much I came back for more. There is not one bad song in this collection. Bonamassa is the complete package, and I think I am hard to impress. He is an unbelievable guitar player (to put it mildly) but his voice is simply haunting. This has quickly become a favorite play. I shared this with a friend and comparred listening to this album like opening a fine bottle of wine. It just gets better and better. If you like great guitar with a blues slant, then you will NOT be diappointed. This is a work of art!

Incredible!

I didn't know of Joe Bonamassa either but discovered him on Shannon Curfman's latest album. I looked into his music and thought, OMG, what have I been missing! I have a few of his albums now but this is far and away my favorite. Like reviewer legacybd said, it just keeps getting better and better the more you listen to it.....and I can't put it away!

His guitar playing is exceptional....I listen again and think, how did he just do that? Did you hear that? Amazing.

I love the songs "Woke Up Dreaming" and "Ball Peen Hammer" the best.

My favorite artists include Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang (early), Jeff Healy, Shannon Curfman, so if you like any of these blues artists, check out Joe Bonamassa.
