Album Review
The Real Group, an a cappella quintet from Sweden, seem poised to reach the top. Comprised of three males and two females, the vocal group perform their renditions of a folk song, "Strawberry Fields Forever," and ten jazz standards on this continually interesting and enjoyable CD. Among the highlights are "Splanky," "Good Bait," "Night and Day" and "I've Found a New Baby." Although each singer proves to be a fine soloist, the ensembles by this highly appealing group are most notable; they can easily outswing most of their competition. Highly recommended.

Very Real
If you're looking for the purest sound on this earth then take a listen to the Real Group. I saw them live about seven years ago and it was simply life changing. At the time I wasn't really attuned to a cappella and was semi-dragged to the concert but wow, sometimes you get lucky.
