a perfect album
There isn't a song on this album that I skip over. Each one is so different from the last, but sets the next one up perfectly. With the live, in-studio aspect, everything feels raw and pure. The voices and instruments of Ms. Herzig's bandmates blend perfectly with one another. It feels seamless.
Katie Herzig has compiled a collection here that's beyond beautiful - it's my new favorite record.

I saw Katie (with this trio) open for Mat Kearney and I was very impressed! Her unique voice is fresh and the music is beautiful. Hey Na Na and Wish You Well are two songs that really stand out to me!

Katie Herzig struck out on her own after eight years as the frontwoman for Newcomers Home. Herzig was no stranger to the solo game, having released her first solo album, Watch Them Fall, in 2004, so it was no surprise when, following the dissolution of Newcomers Home in 2006, Herzig put together a second album, Weightless, which was released that summer.
