A Must have

If you call yourself a true Mafia fan. These are a must have if you dont already

La Mafia is awesome live....

I remember when La Mafia released LIVE back in the mid 80s, that album live from Houston is an awesome album, and super hard to find anywhere. It is good to hear these hits in their live format. La Mafia always has, and always will be, the front runners in the Tejano music genre and these live hits are a reason for that. Oscar de La Rosa is one of the most unique (and perhaps greatest and underrated) vocalists and along with Mando Lichtenberger, Jr. at the helm as the band's accordionist, keyboardist and producer, the band will continue to be the powerhouse it has always been.

Award winning Houston-based Latino band La Mafia are largely responsible for the resurgence of the "norteño sound," which has some basis in country and western music. Founded by Oscar and Leonard Gonzalez, both of whom were raised in the north end of Houston, La Mafia released their eponymous debut album in 1986 for Sony.
