Different, yet Terrific!
Whew, what a great album. I just recently got into PGroove after going to a show at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC and so of course as any person seeking musical education, went and bought their albums. Sweet Oblivious Antidote has been stuck in my CD player ever since. So much to my great excitement when I read last night that Live Love Die was scheduled for release today. I immediately bought the album when it was posted on iTunes and having just finished it, I must say, its a solid release. I find the sound a bit more rough and rockish rather than their traditional electronic jam sound that I find so wonderful. But thats not a bad thing at all, this is a very very solid and enjoyable release. It seems much more "lyrically dependant" than Sweet Oblivious Antidote or All This Everything, but like I said about their sound on this one, thats not a bad thing. The lyrics are while simple, very powerful and moving and suit the feel of the album quite well. As for my favorite, I'd have to say Speed Queen. Maybe its because I saw them play it live in Asheville, but its just such a great jammin yet rockin song. Overall, awesome release, great addition to the discography and while a bit different IMO than their other two studio releases, it is a solid, beautiful sounding release. Peace and Love - Nic
P-Groove is AWESOME!!
This albums is great!!!! Save for one, two shores, crapshoot, and only always are some of my favorites but they are all really good. This one is different from the first two albums becuase it is much more lyrical and less of that sort of electronic funk type of thing. I think Brock has a "cool" sounding voice and really adds alot to the album alot. Pgroove is great and I encourage everyone to give this new sound a try, it really grows on you!!!!

Perpetual Groove is here to stay and with LOVELOVEDIE available to the public, many more people will now realize why Pgroove fans, like myself, say they are the best and can't be touched.
