Perfection
This recording from March of 2001 captures 16 Horsepower at their prime. Powerful, hypnotizing, spiritual, and incredible musicians. I saw them this tour and it still is one of my favorite shows of all time. It still resonates with me today.
The best band no one saw
I saw this band in 1999 in minneapolis. The show that I saw that night was one of the best live shows I ever saw. The few people that saw their show at 7th street entry that night all left talking about how this band was going to be huge. It was always baffling that they never gained more popularity. One of the greatest bands that no one ever heard of.
Captivating
This album shows the true genius of David Eugene Edwards. Too bad the band is no longer together. But you can still hear David in the band Woven Hand. I've had this album in continuous rotation all summer. Fantastic lyrics and stunning musicianship.
