Live Radish Head-
I used to see this band in the early eighties in Crested Butte, Colorado in the Eldorado when they were only playing Dead cover tunes. Jerry, the lead singer was pretty strung out but giving his all for his band. Little did he know that their music had heart and soul. Their music touched everyone who went to see them. I remember a show in Gunnison Colorado in the middle of the winter, forty below and the tent was packed and the music was keeping everyone warmed up and on fire. The same music that was hot then is on this album. Songs that came from Jerry and his life that not everyone can relate to but can enjoy. His band were top notch, though they have gone different directions, Jerry still plays with one or two of them and still have a following among the college crowd. Kids still searching for and latching on to some great music. Check them out, you will be glad you did.
been a long time
I've been looking for this band to release something for a very long time time.
They are still around
Great album, Colorado Rock & Roll. I still listen to this disc from time to time. I saw this tour in 1992 in Santa Fe and bought the disc having never known whom they were. I thought it was wierd when the artwork popped up on my new IPOD. I would not mind picking up some of thier other tunes if they are still around. I still live in CO but never see them around.
