Album Review
This live record features Stephen Stills with a great voice that may be a bit weary but is, perhaps, even more emotional and personal. Separated into an acoustic side and an electric side, Stills triumphs during both sets. The electric side is highlighted by the tight "Wooden Ships," while the acoustic side shines with "Change Partners" and a frenetic version of "Crossroads."

Great live Stills CD from '74 but missing 5 tunes
I just bought this CD at B&N because I could not get the entire CD from iTunes. It's a great live CD. What this collection really misses is Change Partners and the other 5 songs. Wooden Ships is worth downloading.
The Last Strong Solo Offering from a Genius
Around 1974, Stills played a packed Chicago Auditorium for the King Biscuit Flower Hour. In a sort of way, if this was his last strong effort at proving himself to the world, then he went out in a blaze of glory by assembling one of the best bands he ever had. This included guitarist Donnie Dacus, percussionist Joe Lala and Joe Walsh's backup band. Therefore he assembled one the hardest rocking bands he had ever been with post Manassas. He shines of course on the electric set, however, is through his heartfelt vocal renderings of Four Days Gone and Change Partners that seal the deal. It is sad how he unfortunately deteriorated vocally and musically after this live tour. Probably because he felt he had nothing left to prove, and after listening to this, Manassas, and any of the Buffalo Springfield and CSNY material, then it's easy to see how much of a genius this guy really is.
Amazon has the missing acoustic mp3's
The songs available here are OK for 70's-style live electric guitar-virtuoso stuff, but Stills really shines on the acoustic tunes.
