One of the best albums ever!
Carl Jackson did an AMAZING job at producing this. I never knew about the Louvin Bros. until I heard about all the colloborations that would be done for this album, like Ronnie Dunn, Terri Clark, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Joe Nichols, Patty Loveless, etc. ....and it's such an incredible country album. If you love traditional country, you will LOVE this!!!
Whatever it takes!
Its kinda hard to swallow some of the major violations that are on this album, however that being said if turns more people on to the Louvin Brothers then so be it! There are SOME covers here that are pretty decent. Do yourself a favor and just go straight for the originals!
Dierks' song is great
I don't recommend buying the entire album, but "I Don't Believe You've Met My Baby" is a must have. Dierks Bentley and Harley Allen nailed that song. Joe Nichols "Cash on the Barrelhead" is worth the buy, too.
