As a creator of cool music compilations, Chris Zippel launched the successful “Ibiza Chillout” series and its sister-series “Chillout Voices”. He has released several albums of his own work, most notably his "Genuine - Nu Ambient Groove" Series and the award-winning album “Genuine Horizons” which topped electronica charts in 2008. As a pop producer he has worked with such acts as the Pet Shop Boys, Pat Appleton, Robbie Williams and Germany’s Top Act Ich & Ich to name a few. Now Chris finally launches his new label, "Genuine Sounds", with two beautiful compilations produced for his favorite place to stay in Amsterdam: the fabulous Park Hotel. The first CD is a classic chill-out compilation called “The Living Room” after the hotel’s wide-open lounge-lobby. It incorporates wonderful atmospheric tracks that are pensive, detailed and hand-crafted, yet meditative and intellectually engaging. Included are tracks from masters of the genre such as Bliss, Tosca, and Chill Factor 5, but also surprises such as a gentle samba by Dusko Goykovich.
