If you loved 'LJ Plays the Beatles', you will absolutely love and be awed by 'LJ Plays the Beatles Vol. 2.' These amazing solo guitar arrangements capture the beauty of these timeless Beatle classics. 'Penny Lane' is a masterpiece and shows LJ's amazing skill as an arranger. But then, the same could be said about the other tunes. 'You Can't Do That' has a great blues feel to it. 'I Am the Walrus' somehow seems to pull in all the orchestral string arrangements that gave the Beatle's original version so much charcater and depth, and Juber does it on one guitar! After listening through the first time, I thought, "Help! I want to play like this!" This is sure to be as popular as LJ Plays the Beatles.

Already had the first one, so I didn't hesitate to download Vol. 2. Laurence Juber has turned some more of my favorite Beatles tunes into solo guitar masterpieces - although there are times you'd swear there's more than one player... He's just that good. If you're an acoustic guitar fan, you have to add this to your collection.

Acoustic guitarist, composer, and producer Laurence Juber, known by many of his fans simply as "LJ," was born and raised in London. By the time he was 13, he began to earn money by performing at local get-togethers. A couple of years later he took up the study of classical guitar and then went on to earn a music degree from the London University, Goldsmith College. He also performed as a soloist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Around the mid-'70s, Juber found work as a session player. He...
