Shakiras new reencarnation: She Wolf
First let me get this out of the way, this song was obviously written originally in Spanish and was later translated into English. Yes, the Spanish version is MUCH better than the English version, it flows better and makes more sense (not to mention that Shakira is at her very best when she sings in ther native tongue). That said, I L.O.V.E. this song, in a way its like Shakira going back to her roots, enough with the middle-eastern flavored songs, or the reggaeton influenced singles, THIS right here ladies and gentlemen is Shakira before the crossover (sans the blonde hair of course, by the way Shaki, when you going back to black?). Pure, good, dancable, enjoyable pop, thats what this song is, and just for that its great. This reminds me of what the album after "Donde Estan Los Ladrones" would have been like if "Laundry Service" had not existed. A litte bit of rock, a little bit of dance, a little bit of disco and sexy lyrics that would put any man that doesnt appreciate his mate, in his place. I could go on and on about the reasons I love this song, but I think I have said enough...if you purchase this song, you might howl like a wolf everytime you hear the chorus, however you definitely will not regret your purchase.

This song rocks, both She Wolf and Loba are a must have for anyone that likes good music.
Deception
This song is fun and that's all. Shakira used to be such a great artist, with clever lyrics even in her sexiest songs but since "Hips Don't Lie", that's not the case anymore. The lyrics are silly (in both, English and Spanish version) and her voice sounds irritating at times. For the ones who have always admired Shakira's work it is sad to confirm that she's become an inexpressive artist and all the wait for a new single has to end up in such disappointment. For people in general, this song will be fun, but easily forgetable. Still, if you want to buy it, buy the Spanish version. You won't have to deal with the lyrics (if you're not a Spanish speaker). Hopefully Shakira will realize that to reinvent herself she doesn't have to become someone else and will eventually release some more consistent material in her upcoming album.
