I'm happy to say this album is floating around in my permanent memory bank. I frequently wake up w her voice in my head! Patricia's voice ranges from hearty and rich on some tracks, angelic and haunting, to even floating and bubbly on others. The variety comes together like a gorgeous bouquet of sound ... and that's just talking tone. The lyrics are raw and spiritual telling the story of Patricia's reality in the style of a practiced lyrical craftswoman. These songs and stories range from deep and reflective to spiritual and profoundly uplifting...I'm proud to say they're a part of my permanent collection as there's a song to match my every mood. BRAVO! Ps. My request is that you make more songs in the style of "I Dream of You"
Long Road Home--EP
I love this CD! Bahia is a talented and versatile composer and singer. These songs are profoundly moving, beautifully expressing both pain and joy, and celebrating life and love. Her vocal dexterity with different moods is readily apparent. From the haunting "I Dream of You", to the bouncy "What Are the Chances", to the inspiring "Peace will find a Way", Bahia delivers powerful sentiments with finesse and authenticity. Oh, and did I mention how catchy these songs are? I'm expecting to hear them on the radio any day now!
