...JAYMAY

"September 2nd" to April 13th, but who's counting?

Jaymay For Sale

Is this Jaymay, or are these Beatles for Sale out-takes? Wow, more lovely tracks lovingly crafted by J.

There's something so warm, familiar and Beatlesque about these tracks, down to the double-tracked vocals, loping c&w Ringo rhythm feel and lilting, confident melodies. I love it. But as much as these tracks evoke Hard Day's Night - Help!, as always with Jaymay there's something so original and right now about them.

Hands down my favorite recording artist in music today. She knows not only how to write a pretty song but also how to craft it into a beautiful record. These are the first new tracks I've been excited about in a long time. Keep it up Jaymay, you are the best thing out there.

Great Album!

I am so happy to have heard more Jaymay. This is an awesome album, however brief. Her voice is among the top three female voices i've ever heard. Behind perhaps only Deb Talan from The Weepies. My only regret with this album is that it is not long enough and I pray that she comes out with more full length albums! Keep it up!
