Noel is Still Tops!!

Once again, Noel and the Oasis boys do not dissapoint. "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" accompanies the Tour documentry from Oasis' year long Tour for the "Don't Believe the Truth" album, out on dvd Oct. 29th. A Dylan-esque Rocker that features the older Gallagher on lead vocals, this track harkens back to the great 'ol days when songwriting was king, and if you couldn't come with the goods, you best not come to the party! Noel and Co. simply understand this, always have. There is not a writer, or a band for that matter, that can hold a candle to Oasis' continuing bid for the Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the world! Long Live King Noel! A must have....Five Stars indeed!

Lord don't make the next album take long

This is Oasis truly at the top of their game...After hearing song that could be on the next album such as Show me your love, The boy with the blues, I wanna live and dream in my record machine, Stop the clocks, Revolution song, Guess im out of time, and Let it come over me i am truly excited for this album...It's going to be their best album in years.

classic

Great tune. I'm sure it's from the DBTT seesions. It's the best Noel fronted tune in a while. Cool lyrics and the video provides great candid Oasis shots. Noel and the band sound at the top of their game. I wish they would release albumns at a faster clip than once every 3 years. Can't wait for the next one boys. Keep it up!

Along with Blur and Suede, they were responsible for returning British guitar pop to the top of the charts. Led by guitarist/songwriter Noel Gallagher, the Manchester quintet adopted the rough, thuggish image of the Stones and the Who, crossed it with "Beatlesque" melodies and hooks, injected distinctly British lyrical themes and song structures like the...
