Truth Music is Good Music, Theory Hazit again!

"Lord Fire" is T.H.'s latest addition to his career as a rap artist and a producer. This album, continuing the tradition of "Extra Credit" (his first album), contains a great mix of his raps that contain a narrative-style rhyme while splicing it with gobstoppers of creative flows. Talking about everything from his family life in the past ("All Love"), to standing up for yourself against the world's wack imagery through Jesus Christ ("Soph Sissy"), to the life of an obstinate gangster (the middle section of the song "Jive Turkey"), the topics vary but all point to the truth of the Gospel. The album, taking some darker themes of a life of regret and sin while using the power of Hip-Hop and the love of Jesus Christ to atone for them, is a really uplifting formula for your mind. In this LP, Hazit takes a different sound, relying on more organic and classic sounds of the olden days as a foundation for his beats. Songs like "All Love" sound like an old R&B joint that contains his great raps. "Rags to Riches" really doesn't contain a hard beat, but careful manipulation of the sample makes it a nice hit for your ears, like listening to a freestyle session to an old record. Finally, the beats are hard enough to give it a whole sound, giving it a mainstream sound without going to electronically-based like today's artists like to go. His sound is unique. Overall, I recommend this album because it is positive hip-hop with truth. In a world where everything is so "relative" and the reality of life seems so dead-on in pessimism, Hazit comes back to say that despite your ills, their is a cure in Christ, a life made right. Great sound, great rhymes, and again, brain food for the soul. "Soph Sissy!" Until now, "

Theory is back at it again

This jawn is fire. Theory comes correct on the mic and vintage is nice on the beats. Theory is really killin' the mic. First Extra Credit and now Lord Fire. The future iz lookin' really bright for underground hip hop.

Can you feel that HEAT!!!??

Lord Fire! Man... this album is a CLASSIC! And this from someboy that is a strict underground head who will eject a disc on contract of whack beats and whacker rhymes into the street and back my car over it seventeen times just for good measure. Trust me when I say this... THIS ALBUM IS A CLASSIC! You NEED to own this right here. Theory has really proven himself as a mic persona and the beats... c'mon... Vintage did his thing bringing that boom-bap good old fashion steelo the underground and hip-hop purists thrive for. Thats whats up. Thanks for the meat fellas. Those tracks are extra fresh and heavy. I was starving for some good tunes. Now I'm good... Don't keep me waiting for another one! I heard you have a second LP dropping this year too? BRING IT!
