Emerging from the same electro punk-pop scene as Metro Station and Forever the Sickest Kids, Canadian six-piece the New Cities' debut album Lost in City Lights is packed full of infectious synths and emphatic choruses. i first heard hypertronic superstar in a store and it instantly caught my attention. and now i love the whole album
Amazing!
I came across The New Cities on a trip to Canada that I took about a year ago before the band had released their record. They were the opening act for Simple Plan. From the moment that tbe band took the stage, it was apparent that there was something fresh and energetic about them and this album captures that. Their songs are catchy and refreshing. My personal favorite is a track called "Looks Minus Substance"

I heard Dead End Countdown somewhere and I liked it a LOT. now I'm listening to all of the songs and I really love them all. My favorites so far are X-Revolution and Hypertronic Superstar. The only other time that I completely loved an album was Kevin Rudolf's :)TOTALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY!!
