Underdogs of Electronica...
Really. This group offers a unique sound in the genre of Dark Electronic. Heard enough of simplistic goth electronic dance beats? Then move on to the subtleties and change of pace of Destroid. Still dark. Still danceable. Yet, unique.

This album is one of the few that every song is worth listening too. Best modern goth in years!!

after more than 20 listens, I can honestly say that this is an exceptionally good album. there is not one bad song, but my fav's are 'let me leave', 'run and hide' and 'mourn'. rarely have i found an entire album this good, i cannot say enough about destroid. this is better than their previous album, future prophecies, which is also great, but this outdoes it by a lot. the newer ep 'silent world' has songs that are even better making the wait for a new full length difficult indeed. loudspeaker makes the list of my all time favorite albums of any genre or any band. imo, destroid is far superior to any of daniel myers' other projects (haujobb, architect) and i will be listening to loudspeaker for years to come. now go check out the 'silent world' ep for even more electronic genius, you will not be disappointed.
