Wish I could rate it more than 5 stars
Roger Fisher has done the impossible, folks: He has covered Love Alive in the most loving, amazing fashion, and he added some of his own special tweaks to the song that I personally enjoyed. Even though he was at the center of Heart's early success, Roger has showcased that he hasn't forgotten his roots and where he came from, and it shows.
Better than ever!
This updated version of the Heart Classic shows the musical maturity and skill Roger Fisher, (who co-wrote the original with Ann and Nancy Wilson) has gained thru the years. It's unusual for a re-do to further capture and expand the nature of the original song and make it even more compelling. Roger did it here. The new arrangement and heartfelt vocals take this tune into the new century and to a higher level.
Love Alive
Roger's recording of this Heart classic is masterful, heartfelt and a joy to listen to. The instrumentation and vocals yeild an exceptional new feel while maintaining the song's heritage. I love it!
