Fabulous EP - Buy This One
As a fan of 8mm I've been waiting for this release for a while, so am happy to say it is fabulous all the way through - filled with haunting melodies, catchy lyrics, and awesome hooks. This is a perfect EP to play while working or driving late at night. Their sound is a slight throw back to some of the best trip-hop bands of the 90's - but with their own unique spin. Guitarist/Singer Sean Beavan has produced and mixed seminole albums for Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Guns and Roses, System Of A Down... so technically this album is absolute top notch. Juliette, the lead singer has a sultry-sexy delivery that is ever so haunting and compelling. The 3rd cut 'Mean' should be a big hit when it gets radio play - you won't stop humming it. These guys are an indie band without a label promo machine behind them - so buy the album and if you like it tell our friends...
Amazing EP!!!
8mm delivers the goods again. Outstanding melodies, expertly crafted hooks, wonderful lyrics, and Juliette's angelic voice all combine to make this a must buy. Some of the best music out there. I haven't stopped listening to it yet! Good old fashioned down tempo trip-hop that manages to rock somehow at the same time. Fantastic. Tell your friends to buy this album! And don't miss out on their previous release 'Songs to Love and Die By'. Support 8mm and keep the great music coming!!!
