Album Review
Although the Scorpions had already achieved fame after 1982's Blackout, Love at First Sting brought them their biggest single of the decade, the slick anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane," with some greatly underrated songs to back it up. The album opens with the hair-raising "Bad Boys Running Wild" and continues with songs such as the memorable "Big City Nights" and the half-ballad, half-powerhouse rocker "Coming Home." The record also contains what just may be the band's best ballad ever, the tear-jerking "Still Loving You." Considering the fact that it has some of their best-ever singles, Love at First Sting is definitely a must for all fans of the Scorpions.

Awesome Stuff!
I remember this album from back when I was 12 years old. This stuff rocks. Love at First Sting was definitely the best Scorps album that I can recall. I remember sitting down with my brother and friends playing Risk, dipping tobacco, drinking Coke, and playing this album from front to back several times in a row on a crisp fall night with the windows open. That's definitely the essense of the Scorps to me, a Crisp fall night and magical surroundings, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, buy it if you're into 80's metal, it's primo stuff! Da Chrisman
Scorpions Rock
I was introduced to Scorpions by a high school buddy. As a black guy in "the hood," no one else could appreciate the guitars and great voice of Klaus Meine. The strangest part is that some family members thought the "hard rock" (as they called it) would lead me to drug use. I didn't even drink alcohol! Long live Scorpions; I'm Still Loving You!!
ULTIMATE ROCK
I grew up in an extremely conservative Christian home, and I had never liked hard rock - until I heard Scorpions' LOVE AT FIRST STING in my teens back in the 80's. Every single song on this album made my toes curl. To this day I still hate hard rock, but I will never stop loving this album!
