From a dedicated fan...
This band easily put on the best live performances I've ever seen. The four members pieced together from suburban Chicago outfits brought a massive amount of energy to every show, regardless of how many fans were in the crowd, and pushed through difficulties to finally get their album out. Whatever punch "Love Carries An Axe" holds, the concerts threw 100x more right in your face. It was sad to see these guys go, but they did put on a final performance that was better than fitting, and definitely left us all wishing we could see a decade of musical development. As far as the album goes, top tracks would have to be the opener, "Sans Parasol", along with "The Engraver" and "A Second Letter". They stand out, but no track should be left alone; "Love Carries An Axe" is a true album, with the entire piece needing to remain whole.
