I Can't believe...
that I'm the first to write a review about this masterpiece! By far my favorite Whispers album. This is a must-buy for you old school quiet storm collection. Just hit play, no need to skip any songs. The up-tempo tracks (Tonight and Keep on Lovin' Me) are nice as well.
Love for Love by The Whispers
Reminiscing for real. Listening to the snibbets, took me back to '83, 12th grade, with my older boyfriend, listening to Love for Love. Yes, I was in LOVE! The Whispers, smooth melodic tones are measured as masterpieces that have a timeless sound!!!!

The Whispers are a veteran R&B quintet with an impressive 23-year legacy of R&B hits. Formed in Los Angeles by twins Walter and Wallace Scott, Nicholas Caldwell, Marcus Hutson, and Gordy Harmon (who left in 1973), the Whispers turned up on the Dore label in 1964 with "I Was Born When You Kissed Me."
