really?
ok im sorry i love O.A.R. and these guys are awesome but this song is just depressing, not because of the lyrics or tune or because its for a mainstream teen girl movie which goes against most of what i thought the band stood for. Maybe, just maybe the song could have been like some of the better O.A.R. songs, and im not saying that they should go back to in between now and then or even risen type songs because i completely understand that the guys are older and their taste in music has matured, i get it its cool and all the reviewers/"fans" who say O.A.R. needs to return to their roots are just delusional there is no way that would ever happen and even if it did i cant say i wouldnt be disapointed because it would be extremely hypocritical. No im talking about songs such as what is mine or something coming over which are great displays of how the band has changed but can still jam and produce enjoyable songs. The main issue i have with songs like "love is worth the fall" is that the reason O.A.R. seemed so marvelous to me when i first heard them was their live show, which by the way is still going strong as one of the best out there. However, when i was at their show last week they were jamming as usual and everyone was having a great time, even enduring songs like on my way and war song, but then they played love is worth the fall, which was downright boring. more than half the people in my section just had to sit down and wait for it to be over, and i have never had to actually sit down during an O.A.R. show before. This is why its so depressing; it sends the message that this is what the future of O.A.R. will be, and, from what i see and the fact that no matter how much energy they put into a song like this live it just doesnt work, the future is looking pretty bleak.
What happened to my favorite band???
O.A.R. used to be great, this song isn't bad, but their first couple cds are way better than any off the new stuff. They are awesome live, but I kinda wish they went back to the jam band I used to love.
Good song but....
Twilight is one the gayest things in the World.
