Refreshing and Brilliant
Sam Davis debut album is an honest look at relationships between men and speaks to the new age of gay relationships where progress has allowed us to talk openly about objectification, finding ways to connect, finding true love and dealing with the pain of loss and growing apart. Davis' music is unique and beautiful with interesting melodies and a contemporary style that seems to pay homage to an earlier time when life was less complicated. The juxtaposition of the textual themes to his musical style is nothing less than genius and I look forward to hearing more from this incredible composer.
