Cover songs

The recording I purchased - Sea of Love by Phil Phillips - is real, but my confidence in purchasing other songs is shaken by the fact that Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by the Platters is not the original; it is a cover version by someone else. This is obvious in just the 30 second preview. Anyone who purchases a song, expecting it to be the original, and receives an imitation should get his money back. If Amazon refuses, contact the Better Business Bureau. After listening to Smoke Gets In Your Eyes for 30 seconds a few more times, I will make the following observation: What is the next-to-the-last line that he is singing? It is supposed to be "High up in the sky", I think, but that is not what he is singing. He is mixes that line with another, starting out with "High up..." and ending with the word reply. This shows that he is not an English speaker, that he may not understand what he is singing. I live in Asia, so I can say with some degree of certainty that this recording was made in Asia, a rip-off of Black American artists, who receive no royalties for these kinds of songs. And the Asian cover artists are paid a pittance to make these recordings, so ask yourself, who is profiting from this theft? Something to think about. I am suspicious about the following, but not 100% sure: How Sweet It Is by Sam and Dave, Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye by The Casinos, Never My Love by The Association...

Not the real thing...

I know my oldies.. and I know for certain that this is NOT the Platters... I have doubs on a couple of others as well. Not nice, iTunes....I purchased and trashed it afterwards.. Don't waste your money.

FAKE!!!

Listen to the Platter song they have and you know this is fake. Smoke Gets In Your Eyes is an amazing song, when it's in the original...
