Album Review

This is a decent if not ideal companion volume to Autry's 20 Greatest Movie Hits CD, with a bit of overlap ("Someday You'll Want Me to Want You"). Generally it has the same high quality sound, but the annotation is minimal, which is understandable, since the songs speak for themselves. "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" is one of the more familiar numbers in this 18-song collection — "The Girl in the Middle of My Heart," "I'm Mad About You," "You Belong to My Heart," and "You Stole My Heart" are typical of the titles, romantic ballads that are always pleasant, but not at all representative of Autry's output and, thus, not necessarily of interest to all fans.
