Rachel Loy is the real deal....
When you first listen to this, the first thing that pops in your mind is "Why isn't this artist a recognized superstar?" When you dig a little deeper, you discover she plays almost every instrument on the record herself, and co-produced it with Carl Thiel (Bob Schnieder). Wow. Rachel Loy has got more talent in her pinky fingernail than 99% of reigning Pop Princesses. The songs are either written by her, or cowritten with the likes of Patrick Leonard (Madonna), Victoria Shaw (Garth Brooks), and Eric Bazillion (What if God was one of us). She is already playing ball in the majors...Her hit song, The Same Man, released in 2003 is still a favorite in the armed forces, and things just keep getting better for this brilliant new artist. The album consist of pop gem after pop gem. From the mysterious Overboard, to the the sultry "Lookin at me" Rachel Loy has definitely hit a home run with this one. Just Thinking
Rachel Loy's music is full of substance. Her style is relaxful yet spontanious. It makes you feel good. I recomend thie album to anyone who enjoys the importance of perfection and balance. In English... it ROCKS!
Wonderful music
We absolutely love Rachel Loy's album- all the songs are great. Many times only one or two songs on a CD are any good, but that is not the case here. All of them are wonderful! She's an amazing musician, and we look forward to hearing more!
