Lovely indeed!

Little did we know the title of Amel's 2000 debut, "Infinite Possibilities," was actually a description of the career that lay ahead. On her fourth release Amel visits 10 jazz standards, but fear not: this is the not the sort of overdone, typical pop-singer-tries-jazz outing we've had so much of lately. No overbearing strings and horns, no easy song choices...this is truly a JAZZ RECORD, and it's exhilirating to witness Amel uncovering yet another layer of her complex talents. KEY TRACKS: If I Were a Bell, Lucky to Be Me, Wild is the Wind, I Like the Sunrise.

She has one of the best voices I've ever heard abd yet she never uses it. Alongside that fact that all the songs sound the same, if she was going to do jazz, why do such a somber and relaxed production in every song. It puts me to sleep. Though I love her versatility in music, she is obviously not aware of her amazing voice. With a voice that powerful use it.

impassioned

This ablum is an extension of musical genuis. In my view, it is a must have for any connoisseur of music, but particularly those who can get beyond the boundaries of their own thinking about another's creative muse.
